English Language Grammar : Articles

Articles :   "A" , "An" and "The" that are used before nouns are called articles. " A " and " An" are called indefinite articles. Article " A " : A is normally used before nouns/words beginning with consonants.                         Example : a flower , a  chair                                                                                                                     But " A " is also used before nouns/words with vowels if we hear a consonant sound                             like a  unit. Article " An " : We use " An " before words beginning with vowel.                                                                                    Example : an apple , an ear                                                                                                                      But  " An " is also used before words with consonant if we hear a vowel sound.    

Addition Maths Kid Grade 2

Addition : Taking numbers together is called addition.                   Symbol for addition is + .  for example 4 + 5 = 9 There are two addend 4 and 5 whose sum is 9. When 0 ( zero ) is added to a number, the sum is the same number.  5 + 0 = 5 When 1 ( one ) is added to a number , the sum is the next number . 4 + 1 = 5 Regrouping : Writing a number in different way is called regrouping            For example : 25 Ones = 2 Tens 5 Ones                                  34 Tens = 3 Hundred 4 Tens Addition of number with carry          When two numbers in ones place are added, the sum may be grater than 9.
